Referral attorneys are paid directly by the client. There is no fee for becoming a referral attorney, but you must be a member and pay dues annually in order to become a referral attorney. Referral attorneys do not have to provide free services to artists referred to them by NCVLA. Most referral attorneys act on a case by case basis, offering new clients a free initial consultation.
